David Scollin

I’m primarily a clarinet and saxophone player. I play Bb and A clarinets as well as bass clarinet. I also play soprano, alto, tenor and bari saxophones and some flute. I took up ukulele a few years ago, and although I’m still learning, I love the whole chords / rhythm / singing shtick that you can’t do with woodwinds.

I’m using a Lanakai tenor acoustic ukulele. I also have an old ukulele banjo that I inherited from my uncle, and a Risa tenor electric ukulele.

The main purpose of this website will be to post chords and lyrics for various cover songs. I will also be posting simple recordings of myself playing the songs so folks unfamiliar with a tune can hear the melody and see how I have approached the tune.

Some of the listed songs were transcribed directly by me from the artist’s recordings. For some of the listed songs I’ve used online resources to get started and then made improvements in some of the chords or cleaned up chord or lyric errors. In the few cases where I’ve found the chords and lyrics on another website and haven’t made any changes, I’ll credit that website. I will also be posting a few original songs.
